Had Mario fit me in this morning for a cut even though I was in a bit of a hurry. As usual, he was excellent - everything trimmed carefully, warm lather and straight razor on the neck, mustache and accessories all trimmed and thinned in Mario's conscientious way. Never felt rushed, and yet all was complete in a reasonable time and I made it to work looking sharp for the day - Thanks Mario.
I am a regular here, and there is not a nicer, more genial and professional barber in town. I know the ladies love this place, but men, inside this lovely beauty salon is a fantastic men's barber - the real deal, don't miss it.

Mario gave me a great haircut... and I'm pretty challenging. My hair is thinning in various places while other parts continue to grow strong. I guess its a part of getting older. Anyhow, Mario did a great job. Plus he's super friendly.

The haircut was excellent, and only cost me $25. My stylist Patrick easily understood what I was going for, and used a variety of tools to create exactly the look I was going for. Although he is not a man of many words, it is clear that he cares about doing a great job for every customer.
I walked in and was seen very quickly. However, Patrick made the point that scheduling an appointment ahead of time is usually necessary to have such an expedient experience.
Creative Shears is an excellent place for a man looking for something more than Great Clips has to offer, without paying unreasonable prices.

I had a very good experience getting my hair done here!
When you walk in you almost feel like you've stepped into a quaint hair studio you'd see in the suburbs of NY. And rightfully so, the owners and operators are from NY! As a Northerner I love to sit and chat with fellow Northerners about the area.
I only went in for a simple trim but sent my mom in a few weeks later to get her hair cut, styled and colored. They did a fantastic job and she's quite thrilled with her "new do".
Oh! And did I mention the exposed brick? As my Yelp! followers can attest, I'm a sucker for some brick walls so I was pretty much a fan before even speaking to anyone.
If you live in the WF area or find yourself around here and need to take care of a few loose ends (pun intended) you need to check this place out!

I really like this place. Mario took me as a walk-in. He talked to me about how my hair grew and the best way to cut my hair. Then he used many tools on me, and ended up with a great cut. Of course you can't forget the straight razor shave on the neck and back of the ears. He made sure I was satisfied with my hair cut before he removed the apron.
He even trimmed up my goatee and made it look better than it has ever been.

Just walked out after having a hair cut done by Heather. I love the cut! She is also super nice and easy to talk to so the time flew by. I had one done by Mario a number of weeks ago as well and was thoroughly impressed. Overall great people with lots of skill.

How can I give anything less than five stars. Mario is probably the best barber in the world. He not only can do an excellent hair cut he also is very skilled in doing a straight shave.
By far one of the only persons I trust with a razor on my face.

Sometimes you just walk in a place and get that feeling everything is going to come out great. Mario introduced himself, asked how I wanted my hair to look and went right to work.
Twenty minutes later my hair was the best its been in many years. It was that simple and cost effective.

I'm new to the Wake Forest area, and finding a good haircut can be a trial and error experience. Luckily on my first try I tried Creative Shears and hair stylist Heather for a really good trim of my bushy hair. I will definitely return here next time. For a wet cut the price was definitely a deal.

I was way overdue for a haircut and I knew exactly the style I wanted. I made an appointment online with Abby and was able to make it the next day. The place is very nice inside and staff is friendly. I arrived early and was taken back right away. Abby listened to what I was looking for in a new style and she got right to work and gave me the best haircut I've had in years.

Love this little salon. Everyone is friendly and it's quiet and peaceful. The decor is rustic and very different. I really like it. Angela is SUPER !!!
